Touched by our desire to change the daily lives of the Amerindian people, in tune with our humanitarian issues, and attracted by the diversity (trade/engineering) of our association
For all the young people who are now “increasingly looking for meaning in their professional life: don’t be afraid to take risks, follow your dreams and be ambitious” advises ALTEN, the world leader in Engineering and Technology Consulting, which puts commitment at the heart of its business.
“Touched by our desire to change the daily lives of the Amerindian people, in tune with our humanitarian issues, and attracted by the diversity (trade/engineering) of our association,” the ALTEN team supported us in our mission in Argentina. This partnership allowed us, last May, to build 3 houses for the Wichi community in Las Lomitas.
For ALTEN, working with student associations is an opportunity to incubate talent, provide additional training to the students’ curriculum and draw inspiration from their fresh eyes.
One foot in Centrale Lyon and one at emlyon business school, Solidari’Terre is the link between the students of these schools and ALTEN, represented by Anais Laurent and Daniel Duchemann, in charge of recruitment/campus communication.
Working with ALTEN, we have seen the extent of its solidarity and environmental commitment: indeed, the company has made it its mission “to have a positive impact on society and on the environment both with its customers by directing them towards innovative and eco-responsible solutions and with its employees by encouraging them to become responsible citizens. Indeed, ALTEN organizes and participates throughout the year in awareness-raising activities: urban beekeeping workshops (hives are installed on the roof of the Paris headquarters), armchair basketball sessions to raise awareness of the handisport during the Challenge of the World of Great Schools, or actions with the association Elles Bougent with whom ALTEN has established a system of sponsorship so that its collaborators orient young women to the training.
This culture of commitment is in the spotlight at ALTEN, through a recruitment that values the investment of candidates in their personal projects (associative or otherwise). For several years, ALTEN has been sponsoring the activities and passions of its employees through the internal sponsorship program “Our employees have talent”. Young graduates with a passion are therefore welcome at ALTEN. The company recruits many business school profiles to join the support and business managers teams. We thank Daniel Duchemann for this interview.
The entire Solidari’Terre team thanks ALTEN for its support, the members of the communication team for their enriching human support and the time they give to our projects.
