Festival of Solidarity Initiatives
Produced in collaboration with the association Noise, the festival is a music festival yes, but a festival of solidarity initiatives above all.
The objectives of the festival
No one can ignore that a real citizen awareness is emerging in front of the social and climatic issues of our time. Thus, more and more people feel the need to become actors of change. Nevertheless, they do not necessarily know where to start or where to turn.
This festival is therefore an opportunity for all these people, whether they are simply curious or firmly determined to get involved, to discover the solidarity initiatives in their region and to meet in person the actors behind them. All this in a festive, artistic and musical atmosphere, highly conducive to exchange and solidarity.
Following a successful first edition at Les Halles Faubourg in September 2019, addressing the themes of food, housing and integration through entrepreneurship, the second edition of the Earth Sound Festival could not take place due to the health crisis in 2020.
An eco-responsible event
This event is also intended to be as eco-responsible as possible. Waste sorting on site will be guaranteed, the dishes used for snacks will be compostable or recyclable and the organic waste from the catering will be composted.
Program of the day
The festival will take place in two parts: during the afternoon, the participants will be able to meet actors, associations in order to discover beautiful initiatives and figures from Lyon. In the evening the event will be transformed into an electro music festival.
